This offshoot of the popular "Extreme Couponing" series pits 12 of the best savvy shoppers from that show against one another to see who has the clipping skills to save even more money. In each half-hour episode, two couponers go head-to-head in the ultimate shopping test: a $500 budget, a 30-minute time limit, and nothing can be purchased at full price. The person with the highest percentage of savings is named the winner and gets a chance to move on to the hourlong series finale, which features the three best shoppers in a frenzied championship event for the title of Ultimate Extreme Couponer.
