  • Host Terry Crews randomly selects over 50 of the 100 home cooks to compete in five challenges, such as best noodle dish, rotisserie chicken battle, and a blind taste test; judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Nick DiGiovanni decide which cooks are going home.

  • Host Terry Crews invites the 71 remaining cooks to compete in four challenges, a culinary trivia challenge, a spicy weeknight dinner battle, the best sandwich and a mystery basket challenge; judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Nick DiGiovanni send six cooks home.

  • Eighteen of the remaining 65 home cooks take on a bake sale, a takeout battle, and a steak dinner; eight cooks will be headed home.

  • Host Terry Crews challenges 26 of the remaining 55 cooks to make a Sunday breakfast, a perfect scallop and the best one-pot dish to impress judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Nick DiGiovanni; after the battles, 14 cooks will be eliminated.
