Contestants join a brand-new competition show, but after one vanishes in the Alabama woods, paranoia spreads; the players realize the game isn't the only thing they're fighting for and something sinister may be stalking them from the shadows.
After a discovery at camp, players are rushed to a remote hospital, only to learn it's part of the game; trapped inside, they face grotesque horrors, including a bloated corpse, as Greg Nicotero is revealed as the show's twisted puppet master.
In a junkyard stalked by a ravenous creature, players must cross a narrow beam-rolling a tire as the beast lunges from below; it's a race against fear, balance, and time with the two slow eliminated; for the first time, a prize is revealed.
In a fog-shrouded graveyard, three teams of two are split-one locked in a chained coffin, the other racing to recover scattered remains and complete a ritual; time runs out for one team as they fail to assemble a skeleton before the clock expires.
In a decaying barn, the final four attempt a ritual to contain an ancient evil, but it fails; as the dead rise, the remaining three flee to an old farmhouse for the final challenge, where a competitor is crowned the winner.
After unholy rituals and a siege of the undead, the final episode rips through the fourth wall as Greg Nicotero reveals the twisted art of horror, unveiling creature effects, psychological traps, and buried secrets behind every scream.
