  • Chip and Joanna Gaines have big ideas for transforming an old brick building into a boutique hotel; before demolition begins, they must make tough design decisions for the guest rooms, while preserving historical architectural elements.

  • Jo finalizes design for all four floors of the hotel, and Chip begins demo; they soon find that transforming century-old architecture into a 33-room boutique hotel brings unexpected challenges that require design pivots and an elevator.

  • Chip and Jo focus on the public spaces with distinctive design elements in the restaurant, lobby, library and group suite; Chip lands a rare find for the hotel library.

  • Completed wallpaper and tile provide hints at the hotel's future grandeur as the project enters into its final stages of construction; Chip and Jo meet with the hotel's new general manager to discuss preparations for opening day.

  • With construction finished, it's go-time for Jo and the team to style all three floors, as well as the rooftop restaurant, with custom furniture and antique finds before opening day, but their progress is hindered by unexpected elevator issues.
